Manchester United confirm Ferguson to step down

London - Manchester United confirmed on Wednesday that Sir Alex Ferguson would step down as manager of the club at the end of the season.

The Scot has been in charge since 1986 and won 13 league titles, two Champions League titles and numerous other competitions with the club.
