BANGKOK, 19 May 2013 (NNT) รข€" A gold expert is of an opinion that gold investment is currently unattractive due to sharp fluctuations in gold price.
Gold Traders Association chairman Jitti Tangsithpakdi says that a sell-off rumor and a fall short in supply has resulted in the price of the precious metal to drop more than USD50 an ounce in the past few days.
Mr. Jitti believes that if the global gold price crashes below USD1,325 an ounce, it is likely to suffer further slump. He therefore says that it is not a good time to invest in the gold market.
