Chevrolet sells over 20,000 units in 4 months

Chevrolet Sales Thailand (Chevrolet) sold 22,071 vehicles in the first four months of 2013 with the sale of 4,617 vehicles in the month of April 2013.

To increase the availability of its products to more customers and cater to rising demand, and in line with its dealership expansion plans, Chevrolet has recently signed a new dealership agreement with Sim Auto Sure Co Ltd (Chevrolet Suwinthawongse). The latest dealership, Chevrolet's 97th, will serve customers in eastern Bangkok and the greater metropolitan areas. Other dealerships expected to come online soon include Chevrolet Yasothon in the Northeast region of Thailand, Chaing Mai, and additional locations in provinces throughout the country. Chevrolet plans to have 120 dealerships in Thailand by the end of 2013.

"We now have a product portfolio that caters to most major segments in the Thai market," said Chevrolet Sales Thailand's and GM Southeast Asia Operations' Vice-President of Sales, Marketing and Aftersales, Mr. Gustavo Daniel Colossi. "We expect our growth to continue, especially in view of our latest launches."

Chevrolet's sales growth also continued across major markets in the Southeast Asian region. The automaker sold 6,170 vehicles across the region in April 2013. Markets that posted growth included Indonesia which saw a 66 per cent year-to-date increase and the Philippines (74 per cent).
