The Nation should be happy to have such a talented cartoonist as Stephff. He is world-class compared to the rest of the humourless cartoons I see in other Thai newspapers.
Being engaged means that Stephff will inevitably encounter the holier-than-thou foreigners who will try to detract from his art. The letter by Brent of May 3 exactly fits the bill.
Maybe Brent has never been around Soi Cowboy, Nana or Patpong, or hung around Pattaya or Patong, where most of the bargirls have darker skin. This is not because of their origin, but because those of darker skin are usually favoured by the Caucasian punters rather than the white-skinned escorts who are more for the Asians.
I think that's the reality, and if Brent does not think Stephff is funny, it means he's lacking a sense of humour.
Nuff said!
