Judge profile: Cyndy Jarabata

The head judge for the inaugural 2013 Phillipines Property Awards is Cyndy Jarabata, who has more than twenty years experience in resort development and management. She is currently president of TAJARA Leisure and Hospitality Group, a leading consultancy group in the Philippines that works with a variety of companies to develop hotels, leisure and mixed-use residential property. Previously, when Jarabata was chair of the Muntinlupa Investment Board, the city  won 'The Most Business Friendly City' and 'Most Competitive City'.

Jarabata's extensive portfolio includes management positions at well known hospitality companies such as Amanpulo, Tower Club, Westin Philippine Plaza, Shangri-La's Mactan Island Resort, and The Bellevue Manila, to name a few.  She is also a travel writer, and has had her work published in Luxury Properties in Hong Kong, Lifestyle Asia, and La Isla.

"The launching of the Philippine Property Awards signifies high optimism in the property market and I consider it a privilege to be part of this esteemed panel," Jarabata said.
