Public prosecutor mulls advice center

Senior figures at Pattaya court are concerned about the large number of cases involving litigants who are foreigners, especially in civil cases. As a result, the public prosecutor's office is contemplating setting up a free advice center to offer information and assistance to people caught up in legal proceedings. One purpose of the center would be to alert complainants to court procedures they are likely to face, including long time-lags between hearings.
