The newly unveiled penthouses afford panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur
In Kuala Lumpur, property development firm Eastern Oriental Bhd (EO) have revealed 16 new penthouse suites at their St Mary Residences development.
St. Mary Residences is a 4 acre luxury project that comprises 457 typical units in addition to the new penthouse suites. 95 percent of the typical units have already been sold, with foreign buyers comprising 30 percent of these sales. The project is developed in partnership with The Lion Group.
The launch of the penthouses aims to attract foreign buyers from Singapore. Singaporeans currently make up the majority of the overseas buyers at the St Mary Residences, occupying a 43 percent segment of St Mary's foreign investors.
The penthouses at St Mary Residences range from 4,130 – 6,769 sq ft in size. Each penthouse features its own private pool and sky deck and floor to ceiling windows that afford panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur.
Amenities at the development include a fitness centre, function room, swimming pool and children's playroom.
Fiona Chuah, head of marketing and sales at EO, said, "Situated at the doorstep of the Central Business District and within walking distance to the prime shopping belt, it puts work and leisure within residents' easy reach."
Chuah continued, "We welcome discerning buyers from Singapore to experience the penthouse suites firsthand with a private property tour… The views of the cityscape are magnificent."
Kuala Lumpur is currently undergoing a process of urban renewal, as part of the Greater Kuala Lumpur rejuvenation initiative. In November 2012, the city was named as the second-best shopping destination in the Asia Pacific region by the Globe Shopper Index.
The St Mary Residences has been recognised as a premium property development, and was granted a Highly Commended title at the South East Asia Property Awards 2011 and 2012.
