For his new show, set to be aired on CBS in September 2013, the creator of "Two and a Half Men" and "The Big Bang Theory" has chosen Anna Faris to play a newly sober single mom living in Napa Valley, California.

The actress from the "Scary Movie" saga will appear as a major TV character for the first time.
Anna Faris has previously accepted roles in "Entourage" and in "Friends" as Erika, the biological mother of the twins adopted by Chandler and Monica.
