The producers of the upcoming remake of sentimental Italian thriller The Double Hour are trying to entice Michelle Williams with the lead role, reports Thewrap.com.

The US version of The Double Hour will be based on a movie by Giuseppe Capotondi, whose female lead, Russian actress Kseniya Rappoport, earned the best actress award for her performance at the Venice Film Festival in 2009.
Joshua Marston, who put his name on the map with 2004's Maria Full of Grace, will direct the film about a young woman who manages to trick a former cop turned private security agent in a posh villa after they meet at a speed-dating event.
