For tourists, it is quite a nice trip to visit the floating market on the way from Pattaya to Sattahip.
On my wife's visit with her three foreign guests, she was disagreeably surprised when told she could only "sponsor" two of her guests but had to pay Bt100 for the third! Pay a fee for being allowed to do some shopping?
Even stranger, no fee whatsoever was being charged at six other entrances. A public-relations disaster.
