PRD will telecast live oral hearings on Phra Viharn Temple case next week

BANGKOK, 13 April 2013 – The Government Public Relations Department (PRD) will conduct live transmissions next week on oral hearings scheduled by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the Hague, Netherlands, in the case concerning the request for interpretation of the 1962 ruling on the Phra Viharn Temple.

The transmissions are programmed as follows:


Monday, 15 April 2013 â€" Cambodia gives oral argument

1st Round during 15.00-18.00 hrs


2nd Round during 20.00-21.30 hrs


Wednesday, 17 April 2013 â€" Thailand gives oral argument

1st Round during 15.00-18.00 hrs

2nd Round during 20.00-21.30 hrs


Thursday, 18 April 2013 â€" Cambodia gives oral argument during 20.00-22.00 hrs


Friday, 19 April 2013 â€" Thailand gives oral argument during 20.00-22.00 hrs


Those interested are invited to monitor the live telecasts on NBT World’s English TV programme, broadcast in C-Band on Channel 198 of the PSI satellite dish, or by visiting http://thainews.prd.go.th, or on mobile phone sets using Android system via an application called PRD News English.
