Last year's Ladies Asian Tour No 1 Pacharachutha Kongkraphan carded a finishing a 66 to seal a one-stroke victory over Junthima "Numa" Gulyanamita in the Bt500,000 Thai LPGA Championship at the par-72 6,244 yard Rancho Charnvee Resort course in Nakhon Ratchsima yesterday.

Pacharachutha successfully defended her title by sinking seven birdies against a lone bogey on the 17th for a nine under-par 207 - just enough to clinch the Bt71,900 winner's cheque.

LPGA player Junthima signed off with an eight under-par 208 to take second place in the 76-player tournament and prize money of Bt49,900.

Sixteen-year-old Suppamas Saengjan from Sukhothai finished as top amateur with a total of 212, which placed her joint fifth overall along with Walailuk Sartluk and Jaruporn Palakawong na Ayuddhaya.
