Manchester City got second-half goals from Yaya Toure and Carlos Tevez to defeat Chelsea Sunday night in Premier League football action at the Etihad Stadium.
With the win, Manchester City remains 12 points behind league-leading Manchester United, with a faint chance of catching them for the league title.
Chelsea lie third with 49 points, but Spurs are just one point behind and can send Chelsea into fourth place with a win on Monday night at West Ham at 3am (Thailand time).
In Sunday evening's second march, Newcastle doubled the score on Southampton, 4-2.
