iSnap-Ready Advertisements

How much more interesting would it be to see the ads in your morning newspaper turned into liveaction TV commercials?

You can try doing just that with this issue of The Nation, in which three advertisements can be brought to life through the innovative "iSnap". Altogether, across the three Nation Multimedia Group publications, 15 companies will today air their commercials through the newspapers. Try it with your mobile phone - the Toyota Hilux Vigo will pop up from The Nation and come to life on your device.

Along with news articles that come with videos or photos, these moving ads will spice up the NMG papers as we strive to bridge the print and digital worlds.

At Digital Gateway Siam Square today between 1pm and 4pm, the "When Nation Group Newspapers Spring To Life" event will further present iSnap technology, with developer Justin Tan and the Nation Multimedia Group executive director Thepchai Yong explaining how iSnap works. Both will later take part in a panel discussion with two other guests, tarad.com founder Pawoot Pongvitayapanu and Minteraction managing director Siwat Chawareewong.
