The Ramada Plaza Menam Riverside Hotel presents "Dhammafarers", an exhibition of photos depicting the kaleidoscope of spiritual life as seen through the eyes of an award-winning professional photographer who later went on to become a Buddhist monk.
Dhammafarers can be viewed in RamadaPlazaMenamRiverside Hotel's Neo Lounge daily,10amto 4pm, until Wednesday. The hotel is located on Charoen Krung Road. For more information, call the hotel on 02-688-1000 or the Dhammagiri Foundation on 081-056-2238.
The Venerable Ajarn Cagino Bhikkhu has covered more than 4,000km on foot, travelling to forest monasteries and observing the lives of those he meets on his journeys including wandering monks. His motivation for displaying his photos is to raise awareness of the Dhammagiri Foundation which he founded to improve educational opportunities and living conditions for Thai orphans and members of ethnic minorities living in Mae Hong Son province. All donations and proceeds from the sale of his photographs will go towards this work.
