BANGKOK - Fire swept through a community near the Nang Loeng racecourse on Phitsanulok road on Sunday afternoon, police said.
Pol Sub Lt Pakpol Kamsri, of Nang Leong police station, said the fire started in a two-storey wooden house. It spread quickly and destroyed 12 homes in the area.
A few people were slightly injured in the fire.
Fire crews took about 45 minutes to extinguish the blaze.
A faulty electrical system was the suspected cause of the blaze.
