An exquisite brush with nature

Back for the fourth year, "The Poetry of Nature" exhibition showcases brushwork in a new collection of exquisite pieces by traditional Chinese painting master Hsu Bin from Jiangsu Provincial Art Institute.


The Poetry of Nature No.4 is running at the Fashion Hall, 1st floor of The Emporium until Sunday. For more information, call 02-642-3400 ext 4800 and 4811.



The paintings depict flowers, birds and other animals in a highly realistic and lifelike style.


The masterpieces include a splendid peacock painting created with the meticulous gongbi brush technique, and a 2.5m-long painting which portrays 10 graceful cranes in different imaginative postures.


All pieces are available for sale along with a selection of prints and greeting cards featuring eight paintings.
