Two series from the 1960s are heading back to TV networks: Ironside will air on NBC, while The Saint is still looking for its network.

Robert T. Ironside is back for new adventures written by Michael Caleo (Malavita, the upcoming Luc Besson movie starring Robert de Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer and Tommy Lee Jones).
According to Vulture.com, which broke the news, the author will try to stay true to the original character, known for being "a sarcastic, sometimes-abrasive type who's aided by a team of specialized experts that help him solve the toughest cases."
According to Deadline.com, The Saint is on its way to a comeback spurred by English actor Adam Rayner, who will succeed Roger Moore as Simon Templar. The British Robin Hood-like figure will be directed in the pilot by Simon West (Expendables 2).
The Saint will start production at the end of the month.
