Get to know more about dances from around the globe at "Dance the World in One Day 2012" on Dec 1 and 2 at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre.
Held by rumPUREE, the festival features premier Thai and international dance artists such as waving and popping hip hop dance master Future from New York, India's Got Talent favourite Queen Harish, plus African and Latin drum master Michael Pluznick from the US.
Joining the show this year will be tap dancer Tim Fournier and swing dancer Ben Lepp, contemporary jazz dancer Gaston Guervitz from Argentina, and Arnon Poomruang and his team from Thailand to demonstrate music video dances.
Ali Rezar Thoha and Dance To Da Hop will also heat you up with a furious hip hop routine.
Raks rumPUREE and rumPUREE Tribal will also present different styles of belly dancing. There will be four shows, two each day at 2pm and 6pm. The Saturday afternoon show is for charity and free for schoolchildren. The studio and non-profit organisations will be providing 220 seats at a 400 baht donation.
For the other three shows, tickets cost 500 baht, or 400 baht for students with valid ID cards or children below nine years old. Tickets are available online and at rumPUREE on the 5th floor of Amarin Plaza.
