City Automobiles, Land Rover's authorised dealer in Thailand, has appointed Danai Chandrangam as general manager. Before joining Land Rover, Danai, who has been with BMW Thailand for six years, had been general manager of Empire Motor Sport Co. Ltd., Maserati dealer in Thailand.
Holding both Thai and Dutch citizenship, Danai earned a Bachelor of Economics from the Vrije University in Amsterdam. He also owns a medical assistance company specialising in repatriation and case management, and was a keynote speaker on global health care at the Self Insurance Institute of America (SIIA) national and international conferences in 2008 and 2009. He is fluent in Dutch, English, German and Thai.
