Thai beaches need safe swimming zones

Written By Unknown on Friday, 31 May 2013 | 00:33

As I tourist I have visited Thailand several times. Thailand has beautiful resorts with beautiful swimming pools and beautiful beaches. But the beaches are underused, always with red or yellow flags and warnings about currents.

Often there are no lifeguards or buoys to mark the best zone to swim. And if nobody is swimming, one is afraid to be the first one. It is really a pity. The sea in Thailand is really beautiful. In my own country, Portugal, the waves are much higher than in Thailand, but still one can see thousands of people taking a dip in the sea.
