PM Yingluck officially welcomed by Mongolia

ULAN BATOR, 28 April 2013 (NNT) Ć¢€" MongoliaĆ¢€™s government has formally welcomed Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra upon her first official visit to the country during April 27-29.

Mongolian Prime Minister Norov Altankhuyag and Prime Minister Yingluck on Sunday inspected the guard of honor during an official welcoming ceremony at the Sakhbaatar Square.


Prime Minister Yingluck then paid respect to the statue of Genghis Khan and signed a guest book at the Great Hall of the State Palace.


On this occasion, Prime Minister Yingluck and her delegation had plenary discussion on economic cooperation with the Mongolian cabinet. She later witnessed the signing of 3 memorandums of understanding (MoU), namely an MoU to establish bilateral cooperation, an MoU on scientific and technological cooperation, and an MoU for collaboration between the nations' respective chambers of commerce.
