Acer launches Aspire P3 Hybrid Ultrabook, Aspire R7 Hybrid Notebook

Acer and Intel have announced two new hybrid products, Acer Aspire P3 Hybrid Ultrabook and Acer Aspire R7 Hybrid Notebook.

Alan Chiang, General Manager, Acer Computer Co., Ltd. said the new Acer Hybrid products are the combination of innovation and design that reflects lifestyle of people who are looking for devices that combine features and technologies that answer work and play mode.

"With an ultimate integration of key features from notebook and tablet as CPU processor, operating system, touch and type experience, and etc, Acer Aspire P3 Hybrid Ultrabook and Acer Aspire R7 Hybrid Notebook create a new definition of user experience," Chiang said.

Acer Aspire P3 Hybrid Ultrabook is the perfect integration of ultrabook and tablet, Boonchai said. With a 11.6-inch display, it benefits users in a comfortable work-mode as well as a unique design that easily transforms into tablet-mode. HD display with IPS technology enables 170-degree viewing angles while posses light-weight of only 800 gram. Powered by 3rd Generation Intel Core i processor with an option of a 60GB or 120GB SSD, it also comes with a full-sized USB 3.0 and HDMI port as well as Dolby Home Theater boosts sound for headphones and built-in speakers.

A revolutionary 15.6-inch Hybrid Notebook, Acer Aspire R7 Hybrid Notebook enables a 360 degrees touchscreen mode and R7's hinge is designed to work in 5 different modes as Notebook Mode, Closer Mode, Ezel Mode (Floating Mode), Display Mode and PAD Mode. Acer Aspire R7 Hybrid Notebook has won Red Dot Design Award from the renowned design institute, Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen, Germany.
