BANGKOK, 2 April 2013 (NNT) â" The Transport Ministry is next to explain to the Lower House committee the details of the draft loan bill authorizing the Finance Ministry to borrow 2 trillion baht to develop the countryâs infrastructure.
Transport Minister Chadchart Sittipunt said on Monday that the ministry, on Tuesday, will be presenting details of the draft 2-trillion-baht infrastructure development loan bill to the Lower House committee meeting, after the draft law has received an approval from the House of Representatives last week.

Until then, the Transport Ministry is determined to make everyone, particularly members of the public, understand what this law has to offer and that the borrowing plan will be transparent and really benefit the whole country.
In related news, Mr. Chadchart said the Finance Ministry has suggested the Transport Ministry to wait to utilize the 2-trillion-baht loan bill to fund the final part of the Purple Line: Bang Yai-Bang Sue electric railway construction, which is estimated at 12 billion baht, in order to lower costs.
