Nongkhai wrecked by storms

Nongkhai, April 18, (NNT) The Tha Bor District Chief in Nongkhai Province has said that heavy storms have hit the area, damaging homes and felling trees.

Tha Bor District Chief Anurat Thaitrong discosed that district officials dispatched to assess the damage found several trees knocked down onto the district's main roads. Authorities and the locals are working together to clear the routes at the moment.


A noodle shop, located near Panangchonprathan (พนังชลประà¸-าน) Road, was also wrecked by the storms. According to Ms. Mantana Boafan (มัà¸-à¸"า บัวฟั่น), the owner of the restaurant, she was inside her shop when the storm hit. She said that she was scared by the sight left by the storm when it died down.
