BANGKOK, 25 March 2013 (NNT) รข€" Police raided nightclubs in Pattaya and found 60 youngters under 18 years of age among patrons.
The police said the raid came after reports that those nightclubs allowed minors to get in. Upon identification check they found 60 minors, 40 female and the 20 male, among the customers. The 60 teens were detained and taken to the police station for questioning.
The police gave the teens warnings, recorded their information for their files, and contacted their parents to come and pick them up.
However, the police could not find the owners of the clubs or anyone in charge of the entertainment place who will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.
