BANGKOK, 21 March 2013 (NNT)-Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has brushed aside rumors that somebody has been picked as a stand-by premier, reiterating that she will remain in the government and continue to work hard for the country.

According to Ms. Yingluck, it will not be easy to replace the Prime Minister as he/she is elected by the majority of voters under the democratic system. She claimed that she has been working hard and, despite the rumors, she will not give up and will work harder to prove herself.

She also said she was not aware of the coup rumors in Chachoengsao, assuring that both the army and the government have been on good terms. The Prime Minister also responded to comments regarding her speech that even though she did not clearly convey her message, or sometimes mispronounced certain words, everything she said came from her heart.

Ms. Yingluck said further that every comment and criticism will only drive her to improve her performance and be the best in her job.
