Myanmar responsible for the Rohingyas

Written By Unknown on Wednesday, 6 February 2013 | 04:47

While I believe the Thai government is trying to deal with the Rohingya refugee problem in a humanitarian manner, why is the burden put on Thailand instead of Myanmar, which chased the Rohingyas out in the first place?

Economic sanctions against Myanmar should be reinstated until they resolve this problem humanely.

The Nobel Peace Prize awarded to Aung San Suu Kyi should be revoked, symbolically if not physically. How can she deserve such a reward when she has turned her back on the suffering of those people in her country? Shame on her! Why is everyone in the world exspected to solve this problem except the very people who caused it?
