The United Arab Emirates have asked the Football Association of Thailand (FAT) for a change of date and venue for their international friendly with Thailand, said FAT general secretary Ongart Kohsinkha.
The match was originally scheduled for January 29 in Singapore but the UAE FA wants the fixture held two days later in Hong Kong.
Ongart said the association would wait for the return of national coach Winfried Schaefer next week from Germany before making a decision. Schaefer's first task of the year will be to prepare the team for the King's Cup tournament in Chiang Mai later this month.
