Two closed-circuited television (CCTV) cameras were set ablaze in Muang district of Yala province on Saturday night, police said.
The first one was at the three-way junction behind Tessaban 5 School on Ming Muang road. The second was on a power pole at the entrance of Issahiyah Darul Islah School in tambon Sateng Nok of Muang district.
The arsonists used a motorcycle tyre tube to set each security camera on fire.
The arson took place at about 9.50pm.
