Royal Cliff Hotels Group's deVine Club held The Frescobaldi Wine Dinner, which began with an outdoor cocktail reception on the Sunset Lobby Terrace. The reception featured a selection of sparkling wines and canapés. Moving into the Royal Grill Room Wine Cellar, deVine Club members enjoyed an evening of fine wine and epicurean delights like chestnut filled cappellacci on pumpkin sauce and poached Maine lobster tail with crab meat and salsa verde served with Bianca Balsamico flavoured frisee salad.
Christoph Voegeli, Royal Cliff Hotels Group's managing director, hosted the event with Marchese Lamberto de Frescobaldi, the Italian vintner whose Florentine family has dedicated more than 700 years to producing Tuscan wines. Marchese himself majored in viticulture at the University of California Davis.
