More than 2 million light bulbs and candles will light up the region around Washington DC between November 22 and New Year's Day.

Shop till you drop at Changi

There is now more to buy and eat - for both passengers and visitors - at Changi Airport. With the completion of Terminal 1's upgrading and the revamp of the public areas at Terminal 3, the airport has expanded its commercial space by about 10 per cent. The total retail space is now more than 74,000 square metres - about the size of 10 football fields. Screaming for Munch

In 2013, the 150th anniversary of Edvard Munch's birth will be celebrated not only in Norway but also by the ARoS art museum in the Danish city of Aarhus. Around 100 of the artist's works, including seminal pieces from international collections, will be on show at the Edvard Munch - Angst/Anxiety exhibition at the ARoS, which runs until February 17. Asia's youngest fleet

Jetstar Asia has received the first of six new A320s as part of a fleet rejuvenation program, giving it one of the youngest fleets of any Singapore-based airline. Five of the brand new aircraft will replace older A320s in the Jetstar Asia fleet. An additional aircraft will see the overall fleet grow to 17 A320s, representing a net increase of one. Combined, the six new aircraft have an approximate value of US$530 million at list prices. Upon full delivery of all six aircraft by February, Jetstar Asia's fleet of A320s will have an average age of just three years.
