AirAsia is offering a daily flight between Bangkok and Xi'an - China's former capital and the site of famous for the Terracotta Warriors of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.





Flight FD 2568 departs Bangkok's Don Mueang International Airport at 9.30am, and arrives Xi'an at 2.35pm (local time). The direct flight takes four hours. The return flight FD 2569 leaves Xi'an at 3.25pm, and lands at Don Mueang at 6.40pm. Visit www.AirAsia.com.



All the fun of the fair



Visit Bangkok's Wat Saket and travel back in time to the temple fairs of yesterday with the annual Phukhao Thong Temple Fair, which continues around the "Golden Mount" until Friday. A woman with two heads, a little mermaid and her fish tail, and a series of freak show engulf the mountain, plying their cheap tricks and offering plenty of entertainment. Phu Khao Thong is a steep hill inside Wat Saket compound, built during the reign of King Rama III to support the pagoda, which houses a Buddha relic from India.



Patong gets in Tune
