Broadcasting committee of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) Monday endorsed in principle the 'Must Have' draft regulations to make it mandatory for holders of broadcasting right of seven sports programmes, from Olympics to World Cup, to air all of these programmes on free TV channels, besides on their own platforms.
The seven programmes, which are subject to indefinite restriction if or when put in place, are Southeast Asian Games, ASEAN Para Games, Asian Games, Asian Para Games, Olympic Games, Paralympic Games, and FIFA World Cup Final.
