British actress Arterton has accepted a role in the film project that was launched in late 2010, according to the website, whereas Sherlock's Benedict Cumberbatch is still in talks.

Absolutely Anything tells the tale of a professor who is bestowed unlimited powers by a gang of aliens voiced by ex-Pythons John Cleese, Terry Gilliam and Michael Palin. Terry Jones also has a role in the film on top of his directorial duties. None of his former colleagues managed to convince Eric Idle to get involved in the project.

Shooting is set to start early next year, mixing live acting and CGI.
