One killed, 18 injured in Yala bombing

A motorbike bomb went off early Saturday morning, 17 November 2012, downtown Yala, killing one civilian, injuring 11 local residents and seven security personnel who were travelling in a pickup truck, the apparent target of the was targeted by the bomb.

The one civilian victim was killed after being struck by the military pickup truck.
